Technical Advisory

Teams with a specific technical question, design decision, or manufacturing concern who need an engineering judgement and a feasible next step.

What you are buying

A risk assessment, a recommended route, and the next step for one primary problem.

What this is

A paid engineering judgement on one bounded problem, with the reasoning written down so it can be circulated internally.

Questions this suits

  • Should the current design be modified further, or should the architecture be redefined?
  • How should size, power, function, and cost be traded off against each other?
  • What documentation, validation, and manufacturing arrangements are missing before a prototype can go to pilot?
  • Are the engineering risks and responsibility boundaries of a supplier proposal clear?

How the time is used

The session is used for the agreed problem. Reviewing large volumes of material, or work that requires measurement, simulation, or detailed schematic inspection, is quoted as a paid design review instead of being absorbed into the consultation.

Boundaries

The consultation provides engineering judgement based on the information available. It does not replace full design validation, on-site measurement, formal certification, or legal advice. Deeper review and subsequent implementation are quoted separately.

Scheduling and cancellation

Session times are shown in Hong Kong time (HKT). Cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, and refund terms are presented before payment. A booked slot is only confirmed once payment is accepted.

What you get

  • A 75-minute focused session on the agreed problem
  • Pre-review of material you provide, within the agreed scope
  • A short written summary listing the main risks and the recommended next step
  • A clear statement of what could not be assessed from the information available

Process

  1. Submit a non-confidential question summary
  2. We confirm the scope and a time slot
  3. Terms and payment are accepted before the session is held
  4. Where needed, an NDA is signed
  5. The session is held, followed by a written summary
