Terms
Terms for this website and for consulting engagements.

Scope of these terms
These terms cover use of this website and the general basis of paid engagements. A specific engagement is governed by the written scope, quotation, or statement of work issued for it. Where those documents conflict with this page, the specific document takes precedence.
Nothing on this website is a quotation, an offer of certification, or a guarantee of a production outcome.
Quotations and how price is composed
Quotations are issued after a scoping step. Where key information is missing, a paid assessment is carried out before development starts, rather than starting at a low figure and adding cost through repeated changes.
- Requirements and feasibility assessment
- One-off engineering development fee (NRE)
- Prototyping, materials, fixtures, laboratory and subcontracting costs
- Batch manufacturing, and any agreed manufacturing management fee
- Shipping, duties, taxes, and additional support
Indicative figures
Any figures shown on this website are trial assumptions used for positioning and screening. They are not market averages, guaranteed transaction prices, or verified profitability. Final pricing depends on function, constraints, validation requirements, revisions, manufacturing, and delivery requirements.
Consultation bookings
A technical consultation covers a 75-minute session plus an agreed amount of pre-review and a short written summary, assumed at no more than 75 minutes of combined preparation and follow-up. Session times are stated in Hong Kong time (HKT).
A booked slot is only confirmed once payment has been accepted. An automated acknowledgement does not confirm a project, a meeting time, or acceptance of scope.
- Cancellation and rescheduling terms, including any notice period, are stated before payment.
- No-show terms and any refund conditions are stated before payment.
- Where a question requires measurement, simulation, or detailed schematic inspection beyond the agreed consultation scope, it is quoted separately as a paid design review.
Scope, exclusions, and changes
Scope, deliverables, exclusions, acceptance criteria, and the client decision-maker are agreed in writing before development starts. Work outside the agreed baseline is recorded as a change with its engineering and cost impact, and is not absorbed silently.
Acceptance means written confirmation from the named decision-maker. Delivery of a file is not, by itself, acceptance.
Capability boundaries
This site primarily provides board-level electronics and product engineering services. ASIC and integrated circuit requirements are assessed separately; the application design of off-the-shelf chips is not described as in-house silicon development. No tape-out or post-silicon outcome is promised in advance.
Firmware, RF, power safety, security, special environments, and safety-critical functions are assessed according to capability and specialist partner arrangements. Formal certification, third-party laboratory testing, and regulatory filing are defined separately and are not implied by any statement on this site.
Client-supplied material
Clients are responsible for having the right to share the material they provide. Pre-existing tools, modules, third-party licences, and background technology must be identified before development starts, so that the ownership and transfer position is clear.
Confidentiality
Appropriate confidentiality arrangements can be put in place before detailed discussion. The first contact should contain only a non-confidential summary. Please do not send full schematics, source code, or unpublished inventions before those arrangements exist.
Ordering, substitution, and quality
Procurement advance payments, non-cancellable components, and additional batch costs are listed separately. Component substitution or second-source approval requires written agreement, and the approval position is recorded before ordering.
Liability and governing law
Liability terms, warranty scope, the contracting entity, and the governing law are set out in the signed engagement document. These are commercial terms and not a ready-to-sign legal template; they should be completed by a qualified adviser for the contracting entity and target market concerned.
